I need to let the proofs of the revised biography go!  But there is always something else intriguing about Aphra Behn, something I desperately want to know, or even for a moment think I might be able to find out. While all the while knowing she will always be mysterious.

Janet Todd

Janet Todd is a novelist and internationally renowned scholar, known especially for her biographies of women writers. She is an expert in her field in the long 18th century and has published books on Mary Wollstonecraft, Jane Austen, Samuel Richardson and Aphra Behn. After working as an academic around the world, Janet now lives in Cambridge and Venice. Her most recent book is Don't You Know There's a War On?, available in the UK and the US now.
