I was very honoured to be the opening speaker in this conference but, since it was the first time that I have ever given a talk on Skype, I was far more aware of the technology than anything I was saying; it is a peculiar experience talking at a screen and not seeing the audience!  As ever in Bologna conferences and seminars, the audience was gracious and they asked very apposite and far-reaching questions.  Thank you!
